Meet the Experts
At Commack Dental Group, dentistry is a family affair. Dr. Biggiani stoked the flames when he opened his practice over 20 years ago. His nieces and nephews (Dr. Andrew, Dr. Tina, and Dr. Laura) were fast on his heels, pursuing their own dental degrees soon after. With each additional partner, we’ve increased our scope of dentistry and added technological advances, while remaining firmly grounded in established service values. From our Commack dental office, we’re proud to offer patients the best of both worlds – tradition and technology.

Albert V. Biggiani, D.M.D.
Dr. Biggiani has practiced general dentistry in the Commack area for over 20 years. Since receiving his dental degree from Tufts University in 1983, he has dedicated his practice to family and cosmetic dentistry to restore teeth for a beautiful and natural smile.
Dr. Biggiani is committed to consistently improving the quality of care for his patients by using state-of-the-art technologies, including digital X-rays. He is also an active member of The Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America. A CEREC 3D owner who has trained with some of the top specialists in its use, Dr. Biggiani has produced over 3,000 CEREC restorations and has helped train other dentists in the technology.
Dr. Biggiani works closely with a periodontist (gum specialist), an endodontist (root canal specialist), and several hygienists. With this outstanding staff, the service Dr. Biggiani’s patients find here is unmatched.
Andrew D. Frangella, D.D.S.
Dr. Frangella is an associate at Commack Hills Dental Group who received his dental degree from NYU dental school. While there, he was awarded the Dr. Robert A. Sussman Memorial Award, presented to doctors who have demonstrated clinical excellence in operative dentistry and humanitarian values in patient care.
Dr. Frangella’s field of practice includes a multi-disciplinary approach to advanced restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He completed his fellowship in implant dentistry at Temple University through the Misch Implant Institute where he trained with world renowned clinicians in the field of implants. He is trained in advanced cad/cam technology, orthodontics, endodontics, and certified in Invisalign orthodontic appliances.
Dr. Frangella is a fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. And, he is a member of the ADA, AGD, and AACD In his free time, Dr. Frangella enjoys skiing and golf, and was a collegiate wrestler at Lehigh University. He is a life long resident of New York and attended St. Anthony’s High School.
Tina M. Frangella, D.D.S.
Dr. Tina Frangella is an associate at Commack Hills Dental Group. She received her dental degree from University of Buffalo Dental School. She then went on to complete her dental residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
Dr. Frangella is certified in Conscious Sedation by the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and certified in Invisalign orthodontic appliances. She is also trained in the use of CAD/CAM technology and is a member of the ADA and the AGD.
Dr. Frangella is a life long resident of Long Island. She is an alumni of St. Anthony's High School and Adelphi University. She was recently married and now resides in Northport.
Todd Mayer, D.D.S
Dr. Mayer received his dental degree from the University of Buffalo Dental School in 1997. He then attended the advanced specialty education program at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery Dental School, receiving his certificate in periodontics in 1999.
Dr. Mayer has been published in the Journal of Periodontology for his work with the success rates of dental implants. He is trained in all aspects of periodontic and implant treatment, including resective surgery, regenerative surgery, mucogingival procedures (gum grafts), and non-surgical therapy.
Dr. Mayer was born and raised on Long Island and currently lives in Commack with his wife and son.
Laura Frangella, D.D.S
Dr. Laura Frangella is an associate at Commack Hills Dental Group. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Buffalo Dental School in 2008. While there, she was recognized for outstanding undergraduate achievement in the study of prosthodontics by the American College of Prosthodontics. She then went on to complete a dental residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow.
Dr. Frangella is trained in conventional orthodontics and Invisalign orthodontic appliances. She is also trained in the use of CAD/CAM technology. Laura is a member of the ADA.
Dr. Frangella is a lifelong resident of Long Island and alumnist of St. Anthony’s High School and Lehigh University. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
